The Jewel

Centered around an existing mid-century modern home that will be remodeled into a clubhouse, the Jewel development in south Eugene will be an intergenerational development for people with varying income levels.
There is a mix of single-family homes and townhomes along with a mix of lot sizes to accommodate the desires and budgets of most area residents. The garages are pulled off the street and partially hidden to make the streetscape more pedestrian friendly.
The Jewel is designed to be an easily walkable neighborhood with a pedestrian trail system that ties the development together and connects to the existing Ridgeline Trail system.
All the stormwater is handled on-site and is incorporated into wetlands and other water features. Solar electrical generation and other alternative power generating sources have been extensively researched for this project.
