Our job was to design a very compact floor plan for a three - bedroom house that would achieve maximum design quality with minimum cost for a young family. They have a secluded, heavily treed, and steeply sloped site, so opening up to the south and west was important to bring in natural light. Natural materials are emphasized, with exposed wood joists and ceilings.
