Koinonia Student Housing

Conveniently located across from the University of Oregon on Kincaid Street, the Koinonia Student Housing project will include 35 units of student housing. A seven story midrise and 4 story townhomes are arranged around a central courtyard. The project consists of 3 bedroom flats and 5 bedroom town homes. Student ministry space is accommodated in the ground level of the midrise.
We are using an advanced envelope system that gives us better thermal performance and indoor air quality. Natural ventilation strategies will allow the buildings to be passively cooled, and high-efficiency radiant floor heating for energy conservation have been designed into each unit. The spaces are designed for daylight utilization to reduce electrical use.
