Central Presbyterian Church Student Housing
Location: Eugene, OR | Completion Date: In Progress
The Central Presbyterian Church, located near the University of Oregon campus, is working with 2fORM and the Urban Collaborative to develop several student housing projects. The housing is designed to provide support for student residents and expand the church ministry.
The 36 housing units range in size from 3 to 5 bedrooms, and the project includes an underground parking structure.
We are designing the project to be Earth Advantage compliant. We’ve designed the project’s density to aid with the long term urban goals of pedestrian access and better mass-transit utilization. Stormwater will be treated onsite with a mechanical system.
As we continue design, our focus is on materials that are recycled and have little-to-no long term maintenance, and are exploring the use of solar panels for electricity generation.
