2fORM
Architecture relocated to a new office in September 2007 and
consequently embarked on an in-house design project to remodel
and personalize our new space. The changes made have improved
the aesthetic and functional qualities of the space, while
giving it a sense of character that evokes the personality
of 2fORM.
The existing interior partial height walls were modified to
allow more visibility and interaction among the architects
and designers. Most of the interior walls were repainted.
Our new conference room was constructed of reclaimed bleacher
seats. The translucent walls and doors allow light from the
new glazed garage door at the front of the office to filter
into the back of the office.
The custom-designed reception area features a reception workstation
as well as a group critique space at the front of the office.
The next phase of our remodel will be to create an outdoor
room at the entry that can be used as an extension of the
group critique space, especially on nice days when the garage
door is open.
