2fORMULA Modular Housing

We have been developing a series of pre-fabricated modular homes and live/work studios, coining the name 2fORMULA. Our goal is to offer homes of higher-quality design and construction to people who might not otherwise be able to afford to hire an architect. We are striving to create architecture that is not only environmentally sustainable, but economically and socially sustainable as well.
The key strategies for these designs are structural and economic efficiency, user-operability, and environmental response. By using prefabricated modules, the logistics and expense of coordinating construction workers and materials to the site is minimized, and the duration of construction is shortened by allowing the structure to be built concurrently with the foundation work.
We are able to reduce the building footprint by integrating storage density and user-operability to maximize functionality of interior spaces. For example, spaces can be divided with multi-functional casework rather than walls, or sliding wall panels can be incorporated to allow spaces to be opened to each other or to outside.
